Landing rate fsx5/23/2023 ![]() ![]() question to any real world pilots, is this realistic, and why? i have had less trouble landing a much larger plane like the crj700 or the 737. Thrust lever engine shutdown and engine start. to prevent this i would have to do a very long flare and apply some breaks before the initial landing and as soon as the rear wheels touch i would have to push the nose down. the hardest thing to do with this plane is hold a constant landing speed. for example: am on approach to miami int (kmia) was at 11,00 feet now at 1,700 feet inbound and 20 nm out, i have clearance for runway 26L and have ran through the landing checklist, speed at 180knots, flaps at 20 degrees, spoilers armed, landing gear down, runway heading and ils frequency set for ils approach, decent begins at about 6nm out, speed is decreased to 140 knots and flaps at full, am constantly scanning the instruments and watching the papi, right before the threshold, auto pilot off, speed hold off and reduced to idle and at the threshold i begin the flare, the problem begins here, as soon as the rear wheels touch the nose pitches up and the the plane lifts off the ground and lands again but crashes. my favorite is the learjet 45, my only problem is the landing, some times i land good and other times its poor. ![]() i am somewhat proficient in all of the aircrafts.
